We believe that the best wines are the result of a deep connection between PEOPLE & PLACE, as reflected in our winery’s name - “LIGHTFOOT & WOLFVILLE” - “Lightfoot” is our family name and “Wolfville” is the name of the town we call home.
When Dear Friend Bar closed in 2020, co-founders Jeff Van Horne and Matt Boyle began hand-canning cocktails under The Clever Barkeep, complete with custom designs by Anisa Francoeur and QR codes for customer feedback.
The demand didn’t stop when the bar reopened, so they built something bigger.
